    I have just reread “Witness” – even more powerful each time – Chapter The Child really strong – full expression of humanity, balanced emotion with reason, passion, logic – the unexpected reality of childbirth, the mother first, the child so – she was beautiful. Long lashes lying on her cheeks. So perfectly expressed. My daughter, and her mother, too
